Lori-Anne Demers, Demers Group | Creating communities of belonging in companies and beyond

Demers Group creates community in organizations, something that companies are increasingly yearning.

This focus began with a personal story: Lori-Anne Demers, who founded Demers Group 25 years ago, grew up in a communal hunting and fishing lodge, where everybody worked hard and lived together. The lodge was incredibly diverse and inclusive, and to a young Lori-Anne, this was the norm. When she came into the corporate world, the divisiveness she experienced was a shock. And, she made it her mission to help these organizations experience the world she experienced growing up.

Today, she lives up fiercely her commitment to create organizations where people feel like they belong, where they were known for their individual gifts and strengths, and where they see others for their individual gifts and strengths rather than for their culture, age, gender. She has taken this commitment all over the world, and it is inspiring everybody she touches.
